Start with a freshly shucked Wellfleet oyster. Tickle it with a few drops of single malt scotch.

Chill your martini glass. Pour a good measure of Hendricks gin in a shaker. Shake prudently.
Pour the gin into the glass and drop in the oyster. Drink down until only the oyster is left. Now that the oyster is nicely sleeping in a boozy fog, wake it up with a splash or two of tabasco, a squeeze of lemon and a small pinch of freshly ground horseradish.
Slurp away and contemplate another round.
