The Tree River, in Nunavut is an incredible place, and it has played an out-sized role in my fly fishing journey.  It's the place I met Bill Harper and where we developed our great friendship. It was also a place that has ignited some of my more creative work and story telling. We shot some video here on a return journey. It's remoteness, the rugged and raw land, and the wildness is inspiring to me and I have come to think of it as one of the most "Canadian" of places. My respect and longing will last a lifetime. I was delighted to write about this for Fly Fisherman magazine in the March 2009 issue.
